I'm a software developer who writes about what I'm building and learning. This site is mostly a place to think out loud — about systems programming, game development experiments, and the occasional strong opinion about databases.

My day job is full-stack engineering. Outside of that I spend a lot of time on personal projects that are probably too ambitious for the time I have available for them, which is most of the fun.
